Leverage Health Heads to Health Dataplaooza 2015
Health Datapalooza, now in its sixth year, attracts more than 2,000 innovators from across the healthcare industry – investors, entrepreneurs, providers, payers, researchers and others – who are driving the future use of health data.
The event’s faculty is comprised of participants representing diverse perspectives on the increasing use of data to transform healthcare from prevention to diagnosis to treatment and beyond. Keynote speakers include representatives from the federal government, the healthcare industry, the tech world and more, including U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Sylvia Mathews Burwell; Bruce Broussard, President and Chief Executive Officer of Humana; and Aaron Levie, Co-founder of Box.
As Co-Chair of the Impact Track, Leverage Health SVP Marshall Votta collaborated with HDC leadership to develop topics and recruit speakers from organizations such as Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, Blue Shield of California, CareMore, North Shore Long Island, Oliver Wyman, Premera, Rite-Aid, Triple Tree, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, U.S. News and World Report, Walgreens and Walmart.
Events runs from May 31 through June 3 at the Marriott Wardman Park in Washington, D.C. The four-day program includes live App Demos, breakout sessions, workshops, challenge launches and the announcement of the Health Data Liberators Award winner. Health Datapalooza attendees also have the opportunity to interact with the technologies and tools discussed throughout the event through exhibits and a “Genius Bar.”
